Markéta Palová
About
Markéta Palová is a lyric soprano, coming from the Czech Republic, currently studying with Sinan Vural and Renate Arends at Master of Music at Fontys Tilburg, the Netherlands.
Markéta is keen on exploring wide possibilities in singing and that is why she was twice a participant of Lorraine Nubar’s masterclasses (the Juilliard School) at Summer Academy Mozarteum in Salzburg. The genre of Art songs grew on her and classes with Dutch soprano Elly Ameling and a Grammy award winner baritone Wolfgang Holzmair helped her to grasp the art of song singing. Her search for perfectionism in her performance of early music lead her to a great teacher and singer Maarten Koningberger. His expertise of Baroque music fulfilled Markéta’s longing to create unforgettable performances.
Markéta Palová works often with the composer Aura Bouw. Their upcoming opera No Evil brings interdisciplinarity to another level. Furthermore, Markéta Palová creates a voice-guitar duo “MadeInBerlin” with Johan Timmermans.
Markéta Palová lives in Den Bosch with two beautiful cats – Chicky and Takie, whom she occasionally scares by an archery practice. Her singing adventures are to be seen on her Instagram market_palova.
